The Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG) maintains a regional transportation model, also known as a regional travel demand forecasting model, for the Butte County region.  The model is used to develop forecasts for the region's transportation network and to assist in the analysis of regional transportation plans and air quality conformity determinations.

The BCAG transportation model was last updated in 2024 for the preperation of BCAG's 2024 Regional Transportation Plan and Sustainable Communities Strategy.  A copy of the model development report has been included below.
