SSTAC
SSTAC Applications Being Accepted Through Friday, July 31, 2026.
The Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) was established under the requirements of the Transportation Development Act (TDA) to ensure that unmet transit needs are identified within Butte County.
The SSTAC reviews information on possible unmet transit needs, as part of the Unmet Transit Needs process. The committee generally meets once a year in the spring for these reviews. The SSTAC also provides a forum to address other transportation issues facing the disabled and elderly.
The SSTAC is a direct advisory council to the BCAG Board of Directors and includes representation as directed by statute. Council members are agency representatives from area service organizations and agencies, citizens appointed by these groups and citizens-at-large that have applied to serve.
