North Valley Regional GIS Council

The North Valley Regional GIS Council (NVRGC) was formed in 2002 with members from Butte, Glenn and Tehama Counties. This Council was one of thirteen Regional GIS Councils developed throughout the state on behalf of the California GIS Council. The intent of the Regional Councils is to increase coordination and communication among GIS users throughout the state and to review and make recommendations on items brought forth by the California GIS Council.

The NVRGC meets quarterly, or as needed, typically coinciding with meetings of the California GIS Council.  Meetings are held in the BCAG Conference Room.  An agenda is sent out to interested parties approximately one week prior to the meeting date.
