Route 31 now serves Butte College Main Campus
As of the beginning of the 2010 Spring Semester (Jan 25, 2010), Route 31, between
Paradise and Oroville, will include an additional stop on the Main
Campus of Butte College.
The morning bus from Paradise will arrive on campus around 7:03 a.m.
The evening bus from Oroville will arrive around 5:36 p.m.

Schedule Holders at all Bus Stops
In an effort to get more information to it's passengers, B-Line recently installed Schedule Holders at most of it's Bus Stops system wide. The information at each stop is specific for that location.

Additional Morning Run on Route 20 Now in Service
Beginning Monday, August 3, 2009 a new run from Oroville to Chico began serving passengers ONE HOUR earlier than the previous run. The additional run mirrors the route of the 6:57 a.m. run. It leaves the Oroville Transit Center (Mitchell & Spencer) at 5:57 a.m., and goes by the Oroville Park 'n Ride Lot (3rd & Grand). Once in Chico, it exits SR 99 at E. Park Ave (going by the Community Employment Center & Work Training Center), arriving in Downtown at the Chico Transit Center at 6:45 a.m. See the Route 20 timetable for a detailed description of this route.

Chico Transit Center Kiosk staffed
The kiosk at the Chico Transit Center (2nd & Salem) is now staffed.
Passengers can purchase all their bus passes, as well as get
information. A Customer Service Representative is available between the
hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Market Based Transit Study
BCAG and B-Line kicked off a Market Based Transit Study in February 2009. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively evaluate the current fixed route system design to determine if it is effectively meeting consumer needs within the Butte County area.

B-Line On-board Passenger Survey Report
B-Line recently
completed a comprehensive on-board passenger survey with the consulting firm Transit Marketing, LLC. The
survey included demographics,
origin & destination, and boarding & alighting counts. Staff will
examine these results and use them to develop a profile for use in travel forecasting and transit planning
activities.
