2012 MTP/SCS Amendment 2 - Public Comment Period November 1, 2013 - December 1, 2013 - The purpsoe of this amendment is to update the Caltrans SHOPP Grouped Listing Project. This included updating an existing project schedule and funding information as well as adding a new project to the list. Details on this amendment are idetnified in the FTIP web page under "Amendment #6. This amendment does not require a new regional emissions analysis for air quality.
BCAG Board Memorandum for Amendment # 2 to the 2012 FTIP and Amendment #6 to the 2013 FTIP
2012 MTP/SCS Amendment 1 - Public Comment Period May 29, 2013 through June 27, 2013 - The purpose of this amendment is to identify the Forest Highway 171 Project in the MTP with the programming of $479,0061 in Public Lands Highway Program funds for construction. Details on this amendment are identified in the FTIP web page under "Amendment 3". This project does not require a new regional emissions analysis for air quality.
BCAG Board Memorandum for Amendment #1 to the 2013 FTIP and 2012 MTP/SCS
BCAG is required to adopt a Metropolitan Transportation Plan / Sustainable Communities Strategy (MTP/SCS) every 4 years to identify the region's long range transportation plan for a 20 year minimum horizon. The 2012 MTP will cover the years from 2012 to 2035.
The MTP serves as the foundation for the development of the short-range Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) and the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP). The MTP can be amended at any time by the BCAG Board of Directors.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Public Hearing to solicit final comments and informing the public of adoption of the MTP/SCS at the December 13, 2013 BCAG Board of Directors meeting.
Public Workshops: Each round of public workshops consists of presentations made at each of the following jurisdictions: City of Chico, City of Gridley, City of Oroville and the Town of Paradise. While workshops are held, BCAG welcomes the opportunity to receive input in any convenient manner to the public, such as by phone, email, fax, mail, or in person. Notices concerning the workshops were placed in each of the local newspapers of general circulation as well as the BCAG website.

The purpose of the August 2011 workshops were to present the preliminary draft MTP document completed. In addition, information was presented to educate and inform the public as to what the SCS consists of, the issues and policies choices, and to solicit comments prior to its development.
