Forecasts 2010-2035

The long-term regional growth forecasts for 2010-2035 provide insight into the growth trends that are anticipated to occur within Butte County and the incorporated cities and town during the next twenty-five years.  Approximately every four years, the Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG) prepares the  forecasts of housing, population, and employment for the Butte County area. The forecasts are used in preparation of BCAG's 2012 Regional Transportation Plan, Sustainable Communities Strategy, Air Quality Conformity Determination, and Regional Housing Needs Plan and provide data support for BCAG's regional Travel Demand Model.
